Dr Amy Tang is a Brisbane gynaecologist who specialises in the management of cancerous and pre-cancerous disorders of the female reproductive system. This includes ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer and other less common gynaecological cancers of the Fallopian tubes, vagina and vulva, as well as Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (“molar pregnancies”).

She is also an experienced gynaecologist who manages benign gynaecological conditions using the latest minimally invasive techniques.  She is an expert laparoscopic surgeon, using keyhole surgery to treat common gynaecological conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids and adhesions.

As a female gynaecological oncologist, Dr Amy Tang has cared for many thousands of women diagnosed with cancers and pre-cancerous gynaecological conditions.  For women with abnormal Pap smears, Dr Amy Tang can perform a colposcopy for diagnosis and plan further treatment to prevent cervical cancer.
